Shertzer and Company is a personal effort aimed at providing
individual attention to the details and progress of your
construction projects.
Since 1977, Shertzer & Company has specialized in custom work of all
types. Beginning in Brown County, Indiana doing carpentry work ,
remodeling, building log homes, kitchen cabinetry and furniture, we were a
small group. In the late 70s the cabinetry and furniture construction grew
into a Columbus, Indiana, Courthouse Center Mall retail location called
"Limited Edition, Antiques of the Future" featuring local artists and craftsmen.
Around 1980 work grew to Indianapolis and the surrounding counties and
involved businesses and other contractors. Collaborating with other
cabinetmakers and builders the groundwork was being laid and relationships
being formed. About 1984, a partnership and group of craftsmen began
constructing restaurant interiors and custom homes in Bloomington Indiana.
A skill for personal construction was forged.
In 1990, a position became available with Brandt Construction in Indianapolis,
Indiana.
I believe that my 12 year experience with Brandt Construction Inc. has been
paramount in my continued growth in this profession, that teamwork,
dedication, cooperation & integrity are just a few of the values that I
embraced during my relationship with their company.
